This “conversation” should begin before an inquirer is recommended to candidate status. It should be formally concluded no later than final review and assessment.

At some point in the conversation the person should be asked:

1. From your journey – to this point -- with the Book of Confessions, what confession, or what portion of a confession, do you find most exciting and/or challenging?
   
   
2. And what confession, or what portion of a confession, do you find most troubling?
   
   
3. From your journey – to this point – with the Book of Order, what portion or portions of the Book of Order do you find most exciting and/or challenging?
   
   
4. And what portion or portions of the Book of Order do you find most troubling?
   
   
5. Do you know of anything that would stand in the way of your being ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA)?
